THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST NICHOLAS, HEDSOR
Award Presentation - Wednesday 15th June 2005
In order to preserve and improve the built environment of the Chilterns, by promoting good practice and excellence in design, the Chilterns Conservancy Board joins forces each year with the Chiltern Society to run a Building Design Award event. Annually about twenty entries are received. This year, St Nicholas' Church received a Special Project Award for the toilet extension and the improvements to the disabled access to the church.

Representatives of the church and the architects (Tebbit and Wells of High Wycombe) received award certificates from the Chairman of the Board at a ceremony held in Benson Village Hall; the certificate for the builders (Luxon and Cross of Marlow) was received on their behalf in their absence.
